I switched to the WorkingHPRs Senior Turkey, Sweet Potato & Cranberry after our usual kibble started leaving him a bit… windy. First impressions: it doesn’t pong, the kibble pieces aren’t boulder-sized, and someone’s clearly thought about joints and tummies, nice to see glucosamine and prebiotics without the gimmicks. He wolfs it down (no coaxing with chicken bits, hurrah) and his coat’s looking glossier, which, frankly, is more than I can say for my hair these days. Energy-wise, he’s perkier on walks, less plodding, more purposeful sniffing, and he’s not scratching or scooting, which used to drive us both mad. Stools are… shall we say, neat and tidy. Portion guide took a tiny bit of trial and error; once we weighed it properly the weight held steady. Price isn’t bargain-bin, but for the quality it’s fair. If your senior still fancies a romp and you’d like something gentle on the guts with a bit of joint support baked in, this is a solid shout. I’ll be sticking with it, anything that gets us round the park without a pit stop is a win in my book.
